Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2020 reúne las mejores fotografías de fauna salvaje

El concurso Wildlife Photographer of the Year, organizado por el Museo de Historia Natural de Londres, recibió hasta 48.000 fotografías de fotógrafos profesionales y aficionados de 100 países distintos.

Es, posiblemente, el concurso de fotografía de fauna salvaje más importante del mundo. Y no solo porque emplea el poder de la fotografía para cuestionar la percepción del mundo natural, ayudando a fomentar la sostenibilidad y la conservación de la flora y la fauna, sino también porque entre sus fundamentos está el abogar por la fotografía ética, que muestren un respeto total por los animales y su hábitat, y que busquen represental el mundo natural de la forma más fiel a la realidad posible. El Wildlife Photographer of the Year, organizado por el Museo de Historia Natural de Londres, celebró en 2019 su 55 edición recibiendo hasta 48.000 fotografías de fotógrafos profesionales y aficionados de más de 100 países distintos. Mientras esperamos a que se abra la convocatoria de este año, estas fueron algunas de las fotografías presentadas en la pasada edición:
